Advanced Shot - Combination Shots

Combonation shots can be come a big mind bender for most pool players. Its hard enough to visualize where to contact one ball to make it go in. Just remember that you only have to be confident in hitting the first object ball with your cue ball. If you have done your visualisation correctly there will be no troubles.

Visualising your combo shot

Simply use the Ghost ball technique in-between the two object balls. Act as if the first object ball is your cue ball. Line your cue up and use the technique discussed in the Aiming Part 1 article. Find the right point and do the same for the cue ball object ball contact point. With practice this will become second nature. After a while you may even be able to visualise the shot without aid of your cue.
